PERUSAHAAN Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd expects to hit sales of one million vehicles, comprising all of its models, by the year-end, said managing director Hafiz Syed Abu Bakar.

As at end-2004, it had delivered 880,000 cars and aims this year to deliver about 148,000 cars, including the soon-to-be-launched compact car, Myvi.

“We expect to sell 4,000 units of Myvi monthly,” Hafiz said at a media preview of the new Perodua Myvi, scheduled to be launched on May 25. – Bernama

I am not sure whether they would do well considering that they are going to price it around RM41,500 and RM51,500 for the one litre and 1.3 litres which means going up against the Proton cars directly.
BTW, I have put up a link from my Auto blog. Hope you don’t mind.
