as far as i know (correct me if i'm wrong), i've yet to hear a fatality from leaving kids in the car. in australia, there would at least be 2 cases of such deaths every summer, when the temperature can get to 40 degrees...some ppl just never learn...there was this one case where the mum just left the kids in the car for 5 mins...and found the kids dead when she came back...it's sad to think those poor kids died of their parents' stupidity...

agreed.

things will get even worst if you ever drive a luxury car like BMW, Mercedes, Camry and etc where they have complicated security system. By default, you car will automatically locked after few minutes and without key, you just have to break the window to get your children out in case the environment got hotter and hotter.

many people thought that living a little gap by the window would do, however it is very risky in a place where space are limited and hot like car park. if you don't believe me, go check out the Mid Valley car park during Sundays.

This is just common sense. You would think these universities would have other research that is more suited for their large brains.
