A comparison was made between prices before and after July 25 when the latest price of diesel became effective. Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Shafie Apdal said the comparison showed that some prices had gone up while others dropped lower than expected. “At the Chow Kit market, the prices of black pomfret, green and red chillies, and round cabbages went up while those for stingray, squid, tongkol and ladies fingers went down,” he said after making his rounds at the wet markets, grocery stores and hypermarkets. Good in market goes up and down on supply & market demand, what is the long term effect ? Some stupid minister.
