i m not surprised when proton announced the chancellor. thought with the new management at proton, they would be doing a better job but then, there goes our so-called malaysian dreams & hopes right. can anyone name me a car manufacturer in the world who is still manufacturing their last last last best-selling models; iswara, of which the looks…ahem…is a killer. if the japanese or the koreans have yet to cause a dent at our national car makers' profit, proton is still manufaturing old car models to compete its own new car range. sigh…

i wish to say that the launch of this waja 'stretch' aka chancellor is a good business decision!

the price at rm138,888; maybe net profit at rm50,000 per car at least- 10,000 cars sold in 10 years, that's a cool rm500,000,000 net profit!

most europe automobile company are shifting their manufacturing operation to Destroit East (east europe), a place that can compete with china low labour cost… more sedan cars that are above 1.6cc are cheaper than 1.6 waja.. approximately $15,000 selling price…(less than rm60k).

i cant believe our "national carmaker" Proton actually created so much of hype about this "masterpiece". And the freaking price? RM 130K? Even the dumbest "high-ranking Government officers, corporate heads and senior executives" with little or none common sense wont spend their money on this rubbish.

you can buy a standard Honda Accord 2.0 for 120K.

no way this rubbish will ever penetrated the national market let alone the global market.

and one more thing, im really pissed at them for calling the Perdana Executive merely a "stretched version" of the standard Perdana. My mom drives a Perdana Executive and im really impressed with it. Giving so called luxurious interior wont make a car any better if the design and price is still way over exagerated. Anyone who agree that the Perdana Executive is better looking and more impressive than this MasterShit please leave a comment.

A message to high-ranking Government officers, corporate heads and senior executives, if you have 130K please donate it to charity rather than donating it to Proton.

130K, I would rather buy 3 2nd hand import cars and modify them. then call the Chancellor to challenge my performance.

Kudos to Honda and Toyota- their new models, Camry, Accord, Estima, Innova, City, Civic, etc is the real deal nowadays. And ther are NOT OVER PRICED.

screw Proton, i think they should appoint Kia as our national carmaker. they make much better MPV's and sedans.

i can go on forvever but have to go sleep now.

Proton should come out with something special, to hit the mpv market since our mpvs here over in bolehland is the second most sought after vehicle type after sedans, Proton should come out with something low, more like a Wish or Stream, then wide, more like the Fiat Multipla, which can seat 3 in the front, then in total it'll be a nine seater, with 2.0 V6, selling at RM95k+ hohoho…. then Proton will kill loads of competitors..

nice name on it…but not a nice car….if proton think that 'chancellor' will hit the market….i don't think so..it will resulted the same as savvy….proton should design the 'chancellor' like lexus GS430 or VW phaeton 4.2 V8 at that price (RM138k). the price is to high while the design still like proton waja (scrap metal, i know bcoz i had one)…what the heck man!!! not luxurious enough!!

Proton has been good in one thing for the past 20 years…. Naming their car…other than that everythg is a total bullshit. Rakyat who got sum sence would go for brand new Altis / Camry rather than getting stuck with ur Chancellor. Anyway, wat's Chancellor? Kasi "Chance" "LLor" is it? Please dun blame us rakyat that v dun support u…If u were good in creating cars which can atleast compete with those jepun punye car…we might consider.,..Dun expect us to drive a Recycled material….

my goodness, its hideous, i mean 138k? they could have spend 50 ringgit on design development. a streched perdana was okay, coz it was a slim slender body made even slender, this is like the equivilent of a strech elephant. this is rubbish, get it out of our eyes.

ayoyo dont buy the potong perdana man u will sure regret it!!..i have heard many horror stories of perdanan auto transmission poblemo man…the rear suspension also pobelm…believe me, i have rode in two prdanas, the amunt of NVH is the same as in wira or even saga..the suspension sucks, u could feel every bump on the road….i have also rode the nissan sentra and toyota vios AND LET ME TELL U THE DIFFERENCE IS LIKE NIGHT AND DAY!!

trust me, u will sure regret if u buy the perdana

take a rm60,000 waja, stretched the wheelbase, add a dvd, curi the perdana v6 engine and put into the "new" waja, and walla!! a new car!!! chancellor!! (they even cannot come up with decent name)…and voila! a new price of (no, this is no joke or a typo) rm 140,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!hahahahahahahahahahahahah..potong u think we stupid or what? for that price u can get an accord or even camry

this is a daylight robbery and rip-off, add dvd, lengthern wheelbase, take old engine from another model AND PRICE WENT UP RM 80,000!!!!
