Good and simple advertisement. Perhaps Proton could do something similar with the Satria Neo but using Barney instead.

    Cool ad!

But the fact is, like Jeremy Clarkson's summary of his 1-series infamous review:

    CRAP.

Either this is a sign of BMW's desperation for selling a useless car … or thats really the car's targeted buyers in the first place: immature stupid kids who know balls about car design and has daddy's wallet to play with.

"Not Barney but more like ALONG from the TV show"

Please have a more broader view of the market as you are still just thinking of the local market only. ALONG is not recognize in other countries and certainly not appealing to kids elsewhere other than possibly Malaysia. Barney has a world recognition. Now, Proton want its car to be of international standards and increase its market in foreign countries like the UK and not just Malaysia alone. Therefore, using Barney would gain recognition immediately. Perhaps one day if ALONG manage to gain that reputation, he too might be useful but certainly not now.

It just funny, but why frog?

Anyhow the ads is short and brief. Unlike our big company, ads long, and meaningless, perhaps only showing how much money they could spend.
