I am not sure about their intentions but they do sound like blood sucker to me. Prices of car in Malaysia is priced so high and our income is so low that until now they offer the loan repayment of 7-9 years... imagine, once you paid all your car loan, u need to scrap your car and get a new one, and then no one bother to improve our public transportation. I had been to Australia, Hong Kong, China, Singapore and stayed at Japan for 3 years. These countries have a very advance transportation system, some of the countries, their prices of cars are much much more cheaper then Malaysia and their income is much much more higher then us, and still, not all of these countries scrap 10 years car. I do hope that our top brass, before coming up any funny ideas to earn more from their own people, please at least goto observe other countries policies and understand why they implemented (and not) about certain policies. I understand all people wants to earn more, but please, at least come up with some logic explaination. Malaysians are not 100% idiot. Learn from Japan/Sin.. Improve the lousy public transpotation. Removed the bladdy taxes/duties/AP and etc etc that make new cars unaffordable. When the rakyats afford to buy new car, they’re willing to scrap new car.. as simple as that.
