being an everyday bread and butter econocar the civic has to grow in dimension. only problem with civic vti is that its outdone by the accord euro base version in every way.

one thing is for sure. US gets thier cars dirt cheap. if many of us were working there, im sure most will skip the civic for sure.

Yeah…local assembly ones…..HM should solve the tuk tuk sound first in the front and bonnet issue.

The outlook can be wonderful…….once those passenger take a lift in the car…..wah why so many funny sounds coming from the front, the pillar ……..it actually a put off.

too big and bulky, the car is even larger than a 3series. the civic seems more like a cruiser than a trackday machine like performance hondas of old.

but if this car is ever sold here or a car with similar spec at least, i’m pretty sure the price will be right up there with the E90 325i, in the region of RM250K.

Looks great overall but I think the grill could be better. This is rather “tame” for Mugen. The JDM version would have round it up nicely.

why not just wait for the type r?

even though this one would be rarer. or problably different markets.

civic needs to move on. the competition has already raised the bar.

need to compete with the gti. performance and comfort in a sleek expensive looking body. give us the accord euro type body with the turbo engine and maybe shawd if u can afford it.

and the new vw gti is not far off from debuting. subaru and mazda already have thiers out.

I doubt that Honda will have turbo fitted on its cars. It is the world of N/A and Honda has all it needs to compete with turbo-charged vehicle. FYI, the strict emmission law actually forbids some turbo-charged vechile to be available in US.

I still prefer the JDM Mugen Civic got more ‘kick’ than USDM. The front grile much better than the USDM one. Check it out guys.

Wah, it is a 6-speed manual gears car!!!! Great.
Believe that Honda could break into the arena of sedan sport cars, and fight with Mitsu EVO and Subaru Impreza STi.

Anyway, the front look not enough “garang”, may be need remove the black panel and replace with grill would make it!! ^_^
