Paul Tan on the Automotive Industry
This is What Car’s artist impression of the upcoming CLS fighter by BMW. What the car is to be called seems to be divided between the 8-series and the X6. Autobild of Germany has also done a similiar concept drawing, click here for my post back in June 2006 with the image. AutoBild’s take looks more original, while this one by What Car looks more like a 4 door adaptation of the 6-series coupe.

Oh well, looks are subjective. Bt I'd say CLS looks very good.
This BMW looks like a photoshop-ed new 3-series coupe, or it is? I'd still prefer the CLS' looks

I can't see much details in the pic, but it's enough to know it looks waaay better than the CLS hehe!
hmm IMHO the CLS is much sleeker & original.. this one looks totally ripped off from the 335 coupe.
Haha, CLS is the most beautiful Mercedes-Benz ever created, i like the CLS 55 AMG, damn high class, damn nice car, but damn expensive too, lol~
But BMW is moving forward to come out on a car that can match the CLS, so i think that's not a bad move. The 7-Series is not still enough? Maybe….

Bt actually, I tink the current S-class owned the 7-series.
CANT accept the SAGGING rear end of CLS, more when see it in open,
if want to ca CAT, JAGUAR is a real cat.
4 doors coupe are getting more and more famous.
Beside this two… Audi also trying tto launch a 4 door coupe : A7

just that nowadays even the JAGS want their rear to be higher.
bmw maybe want to use 6-series version as CLS's fighter, maybe develop sedan-coupe 6-series.
