Acura still got long way to go before its can beat Lexus. Somehow Lexus manage to capture the luxury cars market but Lexus still struggling.

bangle placed the coffee table at the back but this acura designer placed it in the front of the car. i believe the technical term is 'Fugliness Beyond All Reason’ as mentioned in another story.

That has to be the biggest front grill I have ever seen. After being smacked in the head with it in a collision, one would look like a Gundam with the V antenna.

The wheels are just atrocious, too much bling factor. Lets just hope the designers weren't really serious about this.

Designwise, its futuristic.........manufacturingwise, i dont think they gonna roll it thru their production line or else the reject/defect rate will be tremendous.......unless they are going for specialised production line eg, Ferrari, Lambo, Pagani etc.

Acura....still a typical Japanese car......

I really like the front profile, it resembles the Batmobile (the one driven by Michael Keaton I think, forgot the name of the Batman movie) with it's low, slit headlamps and the large grille in front.

Congrats Acura, good try. I'm sure with this you'll sell well in Northern American markets, you've indeed emerge from Lexus' shadows.....

dear paul..i love ur effort in writing about all things wit a motor and wheels but i cant help wonder why great brands like mazda ,and subaru for example.... are rarely mentioned or docccumented on... i mean there's more than honda ,toyota and its affliates(lexus etc) when we mention about japanese makes.. there's no doubt these 2 brands are the heavyweights in malaysia and tat might be a factor but "other" japanese brands such as mazda produce great models and concepts too such as mazda's nagare concept..which is simply stunnin.....even the launch of the facelifted mazda 6 or correct me if im wrong ..the launch of the mazda 3 were absent from ur highlights...these cars are highly sort after in other parts of the world and their handling and drive dynamics are way ahead of toyota if not honda..i mean..i know the brand's realy weak here just like another faboulous brand..subaru..but i hope when it comes to coverin japanese marvels..we would like to comment and appriciate more brands than the big 2 or 3 of japan....i never fail to visit this site everyday and im not offendin fans of honda and toyota because im a massive fan of the celica and the s2000 respectively ....its just my 2 cents worth of comment on how that part can be improved on this site....i might not be speakin for all but i dare say theer's a fair share out there that think the same....take care paul...great site!!
