My 6 mths old Honda City already need to sent for warranty repairs twice. 1st after only 3 months need to reinstall front windshield due to bad installation done by Honda.Got loud wind noise (equivalent to trumpet sound...hahaha..very funny this car!) at highway speed. 2nd after 6 months wiper motor condemn already. Just imagine driving during heavy downpour suddenly your wiper pack-up...soooo dangerous. Furthermore need to wait for few days due to no spare parts available at Honda 3S service centre (getting very funny ler ths Honda)... Anyway my 2002 wira seem to have better reliablity(no such prob other than the known power window need replacement)...and cheaper some more...well done Proton...i am surprise!! Jay,

Platform sharing with VW or PSA Peugeot-Citroen or even GM is the way forward. If the Government's going to do something about Proton then do it good otherwise just don't bother at all. Though their vios & city cost a bit more than what we average Malaysian can afford, still their reliability & comfort & technology (advance) is no compromise to ours. At RM 75k > peace of mind is assured. Yes we don't get the best but at least you don't need to visit the service centre's often ! Get what i mean ?
