the design would make anyone feel like a 23rd century pilot.
the driver would obviously feel in control, with everything in reach.

it might look claustrophobic, and your right!
do you really want to feel like your in the passenger seat with everyone else, or would you want to feel like you are separated.

my answer is this. you might feel separated from your guests but you will feel like you are a part of the road and the car.

your passengers will just wish they could be sitting where you are. its the real drivers seat of the future.

as far as the interior lines, hmmmmm well, they might be a little avant gaurd
but they do make sense. if you follow each line from where it starts, it continues throughout the cockpit to create a shape that is repeated throughout the cockpit.

when i look at the new z i love the exterior, but when i saw the interior i was really let down because i pretty much expected it to look like that.

i think that carrying on design ques from the past is a must, but not to the point of “almost the same”.

when i look at the interior of the nissan gt-r I WANT TO EITHER THROW UP OR THANK CHEVY FOR A GREAT DESIGN!

talk about busy and cheep looking. all of the dash parts look like rubber legos pieced together with elmers glue. how can you look at the road when you have to look at all the stupid crap in your car.

even top gear was very disjointed with the gt-r .

to me a super car should have clean lines on the outside and even cleaner more simplified lines on the inside.

so in that respect, the new supra will suck.
but as far as creativeness and leading technology goes, the ft-hs is amazing.
don’t think of it as a supercar. think of it as a road craft.
come on, it was probably designed by a very talented 27 year old from art center pasadena that has dreamed for a long time of what the future of auto design will be. if i were him i would be calling my friends and cracking open a twelve pack, cause his dream just came true.

the japanese haven’t got into the business of designing beautiful cars.

the only japaneses cars that can do proper designs are nissan, but even that they have to rely on their french partner renault for the designers.

this car has a very ‘busy’ kind of design, i mean, just look at porsche 911 or nissan 350z, they have a much smoother and fewer surfaces isn’t it?
