Paul Tan on the Automotive Industry
Remember the Suzuki SX4-based sedan that was posted in this blog back in September 2006? Suzuki will be unveiling it to the world at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show next month. Despite the Suzuki SX4‘s all-wheel drive capability, the SX4 Sedan will be a front wheel drive vehicle, featuring the same 109hp 1.6 litre engine in the Suzuki SX4. weird looking sedan…
Even the ugly Honda City is much better looking from the side profile. Reminds me of the previous Aveo sedan. The A-pillar is overstyled and the rear bonnet is out of proportion.
i have no offense on this model… look ok to me… the huge pillars look quite solid for the car… maybe its another crossover or sth???
Will it be a fully imported from japan just like it siblings suzuki swift?

The hatchback version of this car (SX4) was recently seen testing in Jakarta. It is slightly larger than the Honda Jazz but with a higher Ground Clearance. That car should be the replacement for the Suzuki Arieo, while this car would eventually be the replacement for the Suzuki Baleno.
look very light for 109bhp…ugly too
Why only 109hp from a 1.6 liter engine?Just like mazda 3 1.6 also 109hp,same like our national campro 1.6 liter at 110hp.Bravo to city vtec(1.5liter at 110hp)and vios(1.5liter at 109hp).
looks like a nice move by maruti suzuki in the sedan section……SX4 sedan.
