Here is a promotional video of the Gumpert Apollo, the Audi powered road-going track car – brainchild of Audi’s ex-motorsports manager Roland Gumpert. The Gumpert Apollo comes in 3 flavours, 4.2 normally aspirated V8, 4.2 litre supercharged V8 and a top of the line 4.2 litre twin turbocharged V8 with a very nice 650 horsepowers power rating. Felt like a downgraded bugatti for me. But i think this car can only run in sepang in Malaysia. If in city LOL! Bumpers everywhere… And the road condition is worst. If i am a rich German, maybe i will buy one of these toys.
One word, ugly. Almost cardinal sin for a supercar.
buggati veyron VS Gumpert Apollo
Very cool and outlanding looking car, looks like something straight from the Ridge Racer series
Looks even more menacing with the large rear wing, but sadly this car will only be good for track use.
