Yes, sold in Singapore already. Thing is, it is sold MORE expensive than the Toyota Altis 1.6 and Honda Civic 1.6. in Singapore. And people are still buying it!!

Its part of Hyundai’s plan to move upmarket into Toyota’s territory….

If Proton try to sell the Waja at a higher price in Singapore…..

This car is really small, it is bit smaller than the new on coming toyota vios.
I think Kio rio looke better than this new Accent.

i think it’s sold in singapore oredi as the verna. nice friendly shape. more for small families and those starting out in life. ideal if it is priced right. korean quality has improved quite a bit lately. but as this is coming from oriental, be sure, you can find lots of useless and tasteless junk in and outside the car. and this junk will be forced on the buyer like the current oriental marketed hyundais. these guys never learn from the time they handled honda NOT to milk the public.

its sold in singapore oredi. sister car to the kia rio sedan. i think its called the verna over there. looks kinda nice. has a friendly shape. much like the aveo sedan.

i personally prefer suzuki sx sumthin rather than this–>body line at wierd position & boring interior…..driving dynamic????…suzuki sx… is based on swift surely fun to drive

The rear looks oddly short, like it can’t decide whether to be a htach or sedan haha, but overall it’s a classy car. The side profile gives me the impression that it’s been rear-ended :p

Why is it that my first impression is that the centre console that houses the radio is akin to the one on Vios or Altis? “Kato” anyone?

Otherwise the car looks a bit stubby for my taste.

PS: Kato is those crane machine that lift and moved one from another i.e. copying.

Basically, I still prefer the exterior design of the current Accent.

The New Generation Accent looks a bit stubby and “chubby”.

But the interior design is definitely an improvement from the current generation. Looks more “grand”.

Perhaps the CVVT is the one thing that will attract the buyers.

Hopefully they won’t add those ugly looking accessories like the current RXS Accents. Even the 2007 Sonata assembled by them has the fake twin exhaust mufflers. This design somehow looks more Japanese than Korean. Very nice and simple, I like.

Is a good news for us, more choice in the 1.6cc cars range.
If not mistake, Hyundai get the top10 customer satifaction in the survey for the car quality.
We should not prejudice of the car brand, and the hyundai cars really not bad at all.

i saw it in S.Arabia 2weeks ago wen i was thr….actually looks abit short in real , sting like abit longer than the savvy….somehow,u know this is a korean car without even looking at the badge…
