MG didnt only 'not survive' in Malaysia.. MG didnt survive anywhere in the world.

nicecar, to predict only 5 manufacturer "groups" is probably true, and its not only happening today, but in the past already.

take a look at car manufacturers of the world, not including China of course.. they are all already interconnected.

All japanese car manufacturers are partnered up with someone, except for toyota. all european car manufacturers are also partnered with someone or the other except for some small niche car makers who remain independent... same goes with the americans, koreans, australians.. and even proton is now on the verge with partnering another large car maker. Just looking at the list of car makers on the right hand side of the screen, and you will start to see how everyone there is connected. The indians of course, are generally independent, because they sell cars that their own market needs, and its a darn big market, for now anyways.

so its nothing new really.

Hope MG can survive in China but not as same as M'sia...
Globalization make the tremendous competitive environment for car manufacturers... there is a prediction that only 5 car manufacturers group will survive in the future.. hehe.. who know???
