I think it'll be close. The power-to-weight war will probably be won by the M3 (the RS4 has all these additional bits underneath for its 4WD system). The M3 will be faster in a straight line. The RS4 will be faster round the bends and faster also in wet conditions. So, whether the M3 will manage to beat the RS4 will depend on how well it manages to put its power down. If it tends to wag its tail excessively for instance, then it'll likely lose. RS4 vs M3?

I like how they have gone V8 like the homologated M3 GT-R which 10 were only produced in accordance to the rule of Gran Turismo. With expectation, sadly comes disappointment as well. I would have to say that that hood bulge looks a little ungainly and engine does not produce enough torque to beat the RS4 in the battle of the spec sheets.
