Toyota has prepared this special Toyota Hilux Sport Concept for display at the 2007 Commercial Vehicle Show in the UK. It’s powered by a 3.0 litre D-4D turbodiesel equipped with a Toyota Motorsport upgrade which boosts power from 169 horsepower to 200 horsepower. The pick-up truck is further “blinged” with 22 inch wheels, a sporty-design truck top, chrome-finished grille and B-pillars, tinted windows and lights and a special-design front guard.

Pretty smart-looking pickup, but I hope they do realise that F1 and pickups are worlds apart :)

What's with the coupe-ish roofline? Trying to be Caldina on steroids huh. Well, 22" on leaf springs, that's gonna bounce, gives you that offroad feel, even in urban environment, that's what Sport Concept is all about! Can you feel the sportiness yet?

Doesn't look any special to me. I don't see a point in putting those wheels for an offroad truck like that? It looks ugly and the ride would be crap with that. Still prefer Toyota Australia Hilux TRD Concept.

There's nothing special about the pick-up truck..The accessories can be bought from any 4×4 accessories shop..With low profile tyres, the truck will definately spin when driving in rainy conditions..I have experienced it 3 times using normal tyres..Low profiles tyres even worse…!22 inches wheels with leafspring, imagine the consequences..?

Its not really a JPJ law, just that they are the enforcers of it. The tinting law goes back to the old days of the emergency mentality. at that time, with a dangerous communist insurgency that lasted over 20 years, the idea was that dangerous individuals cannot hide behind tinted glass, which made the job for the police a lot easier. Another law that has survived from the emergency days till today is the ISA.

not about visibility? i do agree part of this tinting enforcement is about legacy law, but i have seen my fair share of 'uber tinter' when they drive around at night they can only see headlight of oncoming vehicle only. this dangerous situation is reason enough to this regulation.

don't see any sportness in it. Even though the back roof is a new design, if you look at the whole back section looks detached from the front and middle part
