Chery Tiggo6

Just like the Chery QQ’s evolution is theChery QQ6, Chery has redone their Chery Tiggo and updated it as the Chery Tiggo6. It looks more modern than the Chery Tiggo that has just reached our shores this month, and doesn’t look so much like a cross between a CR-V and a RAV4 anymore.

The Chery Tiggo6 has permanent all-wheel drive instead of a 2WD system or a 2WD-4WD-low ratio switchable system, and features Chery’s range of AVL-designed ACTECO engines including a Euro 5-compliant 1.9 litre turbodiesel. This means specs-wise, the Chery Tiggo6 is ready to take on Europe, pretty good for a company that not too long ago was just doing clones of Daewoo vehicles.

Nice looking car, and the specs are up to standard too. Very good, all that remains to be seen now is build quality and safety standards. If it can pass that too and ditch it's not-so-good reputation, that's a step forward for Chery. Good effort.

China kasi cloned daewoo…. Present, they managed to get their own design win…. China will next Korea and Japan… Another year or two…. Chevy will brand as Hyundai and Kia.. later much better cost and quality….

This is call nation pride not own muka pride….

By the way, it still look like mix with latest Sportage + Escape….

Refreshing design approach in the rear. Bravo! Strong hints of American. Certainly more adventurous than the Japanese.

paul i think it has top hinge and the door swing upward (space to slip hand on the bumper to lift the door) , almost impoissible to lift the spare wheel there to open it,

Well they already have EURO5 diesel engine to invade europe countries, how about P1, shame on you.. EURO3 diesel engine also dont have! And the Europe country you can sell P1 is England, besides that SUCKS! Now i even felt chinese car are more better than P1 in term of technology and design, thanks to the stiff competition from china car manufacturers.. not like P1 dominate Malaysian market for the sedan class.. No competitors in land+G support means they can SUCK our people money into their pocket.. Haiz.. I wonder when China cars will storm into our countries and made P1 condition worst..

China 5 years work = Malaysia 20 years work

Next few years ahead Proton has no place even in Malaysia, China cars will be a threat to Proton. Malaysia is good at making traffic compounds and summons but not making car. 5 minutes not watched, there is a compound on the windscreen. Malaysia Boleh !

  25. transformer says:

the spare would be hidden at bottom of rear tail…..

and also might be inside the boot, underneath… maybe a mini size on too…

this can help the car to achieve cleans looks but losing rugged-ness!

other than that, the rear view would be easier when reversing…. you never know if there a kids behind…(IF your sensor are broken….) LoL!

Eee Eee? Not bad niaa….at least Chery has been doing something….not like some car makers i knew….reintroducing and selling the same model for almost 20 years and still proud of it,,,typical…!!!

Btw..is the 1.9 turbo diesel coming this way..?Bcos if it is,I would (maybe) use one…giving the high price of petrol these days…maybe petrol prices will go up one after this May…salary increment maaa…
