Renault puts up new Renault Laguna teaser site

It’s now confirmed that the sedan that we all saw running around Segambut and speculated to be the new Renault Laguna, is in fact the new Renault Laguna! Renault has put up a teaser site with photos and a video of the new Laguna under disguise and being tested. The video on the site was recorded in Malaysia. The countdown timer on the site says the new Renault Laguna will be launched in 40 days.

Check out Renault’s Laguna teaser site here, or head on after the jump for teaser photos as well as the video from the site, which I have hosted to make streaming faster. The video tells a (fictional) tale of a spy photographer who came all the way here to shoot the new Laguna.

Thanks to Chips Yap for the pointer.

wait… so this Laguna is an all-new Laguna that's not even launched internationally?? I thought this model has been running in europe and is only just launching for the M'sia/Asean market?

(though its worth noting that the current Laguna being sold in Europe was launched in 2000, or 2001)

if indeed its all-new, then im impressed that Renault actually did the testing, and even shot the video in malaysia (unless they wasnt testing and was just merely shooting. hmm). Then again, i think car itself might not even be available for sale in Malaysia..

anyhow did a Google on Laguna's interior shot, found the following: http://www.channel4.com/4car/gl/gallery/gallery/3…

Its different from the pic in the teaser site, not to mention the overall new car's form looks different from the current Laguna's, which looks rather dated.

Also visited Renault UK's site, they have the same teaser there, but the countdown shows 160days… so I guess it is indeed the new Laguna… cool!

Funny, they pick our country to do the teaser, yet, we're nt among the 1st to enjoy it. Thnx everyone for the "vary alive democracy" n "trust in Barang Naik gahmen".

I've just viewed the teaser site and watch the movie. I like the part where the spy guy introduces Aiman and of course, the appearance of the Laguna.

french car though known for flappy quality last time,.. inside, french car standard seat is very comfy and feel at home, carefully architectured, and the material quite lasts,

i think french good at 'seats'

anyway i still like the firmness of the recaro,

a wood facia with a door handle gives an illusion of a tool to cut grass, or a deadly weapon,

anyway, interesting how french car interior look like – its 'dfferent' especially the citroen, -in its unique avantgard style,
