That's the way to go! I think the MG7 will be popular. I say this because it is a Rover 75 in terms of dimension and platform, so it will be spacious and big enough to be popular with the Asian market where size and "image" still means a lot. Opting for a diesel engine is for the Europeans, as diesel is still not popular here. In terms of price, Nanjing will be able to undercut most of the MG's competitors from anywhere inthe world. So, the 7 has got it's work cut out for it.

Yes MG-rover has sell to Nanjing company.. The another company is SAIC but he is limited with few models only.. SAIC will have to get license from the Nanjing company.. Anywayz China now a great hub in making international car, while in Malaysia.. Haiz.. Thailand even better then us.. G better look around us, those neighbors are more competitive and better in term of car industry economic.. And they even went to sell international with new turbodiesel engine! P1, ur wira diesel sell so little amount.. Why not upgrade ur turbodiesel technology and sell it to Europe.. Never think of foreign trend, now diesel are more popular then petrol now.. price are cheaper and more economical then petrol, thx to new turbo diesel engine and the low high torque available.. If u got the chance to test the 535d BMW, u would say" WOW! Is this a petrol or really diesel! So powerfull!"

Madness this MG-Rover story ... Nanjing has the tooling, and is building MG-Rovers, SAIC has the drawings, and is also building MG-Rovers! Where the future of MG-Rover will go, no one knows. The US plant apparently isn't going to happen, as it's been rumoured that its US director (ex Lotus apparently) has left the building.
