One comment: The flat rear, if proton can make the rear a little longer, I think they can put a less slope on the rear windscreen and settle for a lower boot which can reduce that flatback appearance. But then again, if the target is rm30k, not much can be done then eh? I don’t deny that the current high rise boot is necessary to avoid excessive flow separation over the rear which may cause -ve downforce. Unless, they lower the roof? Haha…that may even be more absurd as british male height in the 95th %-tile is around 1800…Mr. Clarkson might end up fracturing his skull while driving!! Just hope they don’t add a “reg number crater” at that boot lid, the boot is already small enough!!

Alright, I’m going to buy a SAVVY AMT in around 1 month time, a sedan won’t be my choice at the moment. I just hope they don’t prolong the BLM any longer, I’m really sick of the current SAGA models now…they look like toy cars. Go proton!

It is too early to comment a car that is still in the testing. Even the Mercedes Benz R-Class didn’t sell well worldwide. Not a bad design and have good technologies but its a NO NO. So just let the car show at the showroom, go to see – checking and testing (either will vomit or not), if good than good news, if vomit then go home with your current car. Nothing to lose. Just make sure to bring a pile / backet. If NO NO, then Proton must do harder and I’ll meet them. Hahaha…. What happened to you guys? Very dissapointed lah!

if many of the info from sifu earlier is accurate, then this car do indeed stand a chance. as a budget / entry car. but to fight with p2 offerings… even if compare viva 1.0 to BLM 1.3 engine, many might choose 1.0 viva.

just b’cos people don’t want to take the gamble on p1 (again) whenever possible.

its about being realistic not negative. this car is trash.

its expected of proton anyway. should have learnt a lesson from the savvy. ugly cars dont sell. u dont want to wake up every morning ready to go to work and look at the car then vomit. nowadays even bargain basement cars need to look good to even compete.

only a car company confident with thier government given monopoly on the malaysian car industry would dare to release this car. this car like the savvy has already failed from the testing stages.

This statment exactly reflect the upcoming BLM! They fail to produce good quality and afforable car (in general, either stone age, current or new models/rebatch) but still use tax payer monies and imposed captured market under NAP crappy tax to force rakyat to buy their inferior quality product at relatively high price.

Shame, shame tak malu! So, P1 failured all the rakyat have to follow suite in every aspect of car ownership from buy high price new/recond car, lousy SC centre, scrap policy, etc, etc!
