This 3.8 liter engine is a detuned version of the 400 horsepower 380RS-Competition club racer 350Z, putting out a lower 350 horsepower at 7,200rpm and 397Nm at 4,800rpm, but still higher than the facelifted 350Z’s original 313 horsepower.

    The bodykit (and therefore the ugly butt) is the result of aerodynamics straight out of the JGTC.

    Stonking great car though.

    R3 don’t really tune Proton cars, they just make ‘facial’ makeover on them.

    The front bumper looks so lame. But the rear is stunning, JGTC-styled.

    Well the 350Z was designed by a Californian, trying to think Japanese. Anyway this is more suited for track days, rather than FC conscious people

    wait… why would a FC conscious guy/gal be driving a 3+ litre car in the 1st place? As for styling wise, the head could have been a little bit more aggresive. Now it’s like 2 different cars. The front is a stock car and the rear a modified car. wtf?

    i LIKE the front..not the back… over exaggerated …
    SIMPLE is MORE

    omg the butt looks like someone took a shovel and gouged open a person’s ars*!!!

    if engineers were the only ones who designed the car then i’m sure it’ll look a whole lot uglier but will perform a whole lot better! ugly butt = better aerodynamics. freaking ugly butt = superb aerodynamics!

    Well, sometimes performance is priority, styling comes in second. Agree with normaluser, the front bumper is a bit lame. If they must paint it in white, a carbon fibre hood will make it look better.

    My favourite top 3 japanese cars:
    1.Lancer Evo (all version)
    2.Nissan 350Z
    3.Toyots Supra

  21. topgunthang said,

    the evox is getting 10% price hike. i guess in response to to subaru having a lousy design. as oppose to the previous generations of sti causing a price decrease in the evos. would still be worth it since it looks so good.

    no need to fiddle with this. nissan should just give us the 370z or 380z.

    Mr CuLpRit, don’t be too sensitive. I was just wondering if Proton have its own tuning division so it can make cars just like the Nismo

    honda = mugen
    toyota = trd
    mazda = mazdaspeed
    merc = amg
    nissan = nismo
    then proton = promo
