Knight Rider Movie Poster Fan Art

Knight Rider MovieI previously blogged back in May 2006 about an upcoming Knight Rider movie, and most of your reactions in the comments showed that alot of the readers here are fans of the show. It’s expected of course, a car enthusiast would definitely go bonkers over a movie or TV series centered around a car.

The movie is being produced by Miramax and The Weinstein Company, after acquiring film rights to adapt Knight Rider from series creator Glen A. Larson. Click the image on the left to have a look at a fan-created teaser movie poster that’s just been released recently. The car being used as K.I.T.T. is a Koenigsegg CCX – note that this is a fan-created poster and does not reflect the actual car being used in the movie. But still, pretty damn believable eh?

Phwooaarr! The CCX is beautiful. But honestly, I'd prefer it if KITT is a less round edged car. You know, something like the original Pontiac. But, hey, it's Knight Rider! I'm starting to hear the theme song in my head already…(tet teneneet, tet teneneeet…)

The script still from Glen A. larson, but probably he not involved Mr Hoff because Mr Hoff produce a Knight Rider 2000 movie last time with Universal without Glen's cooperation.

Yes is not Leonardo will repalce David..probably Orlando Bloom, as Micheal Knight Jr…errr…son of Micheal Knight…hehehe. If we recall Team Knight Rider Series, he's daugther take over the mission.

assimo, the Koenigsegg is actually Swedish, ok.

Moving on, I don't know knight rider much but good thing they use the Koenigsegg CCX for the movie. Pontiac is just, well umm, Pontiac, no ummph.

But it would be better if they use the CCXR, very powerful coz it has 1004bhp (YEAH, 1004 BHP!!!)

PS. If you don't know the CCXR you can buy the Top Gear Malaysia Magazine.
