Kia will be revealing a new concept car at the 2007 Frankfurt International Motor Show called the Kia Sports Coupe Concept. Like it’s namesake, it will be a sports coupe wth a 2+2 seating configuration. It was designed by Kia’s design team in Europe led by Kia’s Chief Design Officer, Peter Schreyer.

“Kia has given me the opportunity to shape its whole brand design and character. Seldom does a designer have such a clean sheet to work with. We started this exciting journey with the Kia ex_ceed cabrio concept at the Geneva Show back in March, and at Frankfurt Im sure Kia will surprise the entire automotive world when people see our new sports coupe concept in the metal.”

This Model might be having POP-UP BONNET system for Pedestrian Protection since the bonnet is low. (Same as what Jaguar XK and Citroen C6 having) Check it out!

good job to KIA….yup it doesnt really sound right when u have a sports car with a KIA badge…..brand not strong enuf like the rest of the established ones..but then 10 years down the road…who knows….at least they are taking a step forward to build that image for the future.

merc bmw design with concept, even proton hold to a concept to design car,
clearly jaguar is so vivid with its concept, never mistaken for its jaguar-ness,

this looks great i guess, but im confused with kia,

I think for P1 to success, they must get some designers from either Kia or hyundai.. they done more better jobs then us.. Most their cars, first impression.. Wow..
