Mercedes Benz has officially announced its new small SUV set to be launched late 2008 – the Mercedes Benz GLK-Class. This name has been speculated for a very long time now, and there have been many sightings of a disguised GLK on road tests. The compact SUV will have 2 rows of seats with place for 5, and will go head to head against competitors such as the BMW X3 and the Land Rover LR2.

Too many angles at the front exterior look. Looks bogged down, like after it have been shelved into the back of a lorry.

Please have Mercy on Merce ….. this must be a creation from Bangle’s infiltrator into Merc…. they srewed themselves with bad quality in the last decade, and now they decided to continue screwing themselves with bad design. . . .just look at the new S Class and C Class….. ugly and vulgar is all i can describe.

I guess the Benz step-son a.k.a Ssang Yong from Korea help them in designing this GLK. :-)

    Daimler doing a Chris Bangle.

Now doesn’t that look more like the Gugenheim Museum in Bilboa compared with the new M3? Hey if one German carmaker can do it, can’t another one do the same ugly odd thing?

dont worry guys…you might not see this car on our roads forever…last month autocar malaysian edition had a article bout this SUV…and mercedes is only planing to make left hand drive models and it meant only for US,canada and some part of Europe…i dont know why they are doing so…but many say it because europe is more interested in smaller cars…compared to the US..and another reason is adapting the new four wheel drive platform to right hand drive setting(kinda lame excuse actually)..
