This design is adopted by Audi as their identity, just like bimmer with its twin kidney rings, or now the gapping mouth of the Peugeot, or the shark snouted nose/grill of the Lancer. Audi was the first to fully adopt its single grill concept in all its production cars, and from then it transferred to its sister company - VW, later on to Buggati.
