this is just for the US models. not the accord euro successor line. honda have always kept the usdm models looking a bit cheaper with less honda refinement in them.

i beleive the accord euro is hard to beat in terms of looks for the price. the accord euro is still the benchmark for its class since came out. though it will be challenged now that the mazda6/mondeo clan is released.

I must say, this is a good looking car!
But one thing I don’t like would be the sedan’s rear end.
This one’s alright.

I think the front has a nice macho look and a typical Acura back. Side doesn’t seem to be that balanced tho… but it kinda reminds me of the Toyata Solara (US-spec Camry Coupe). I think Honda wants to grab some sales from them.

I don’t know which part of Malaysia you guys are from but in KL and PJ, I see plenty of CRV on the road. It didn’t look so good on photo but in the metal, it has a nice modern shape.

First off all there is nothing wrong with CRV design. It is unique and it is a bloody good car. Maybe not many in Malaysian road but in UK you can see it everywhere. The Accord coupe is a bodge job. The front is kinda BMW 3 series, slightly toned down i.e. ugly version. The back is a sharp version of 6 series. Not my cup off tea.

350Z and M6 are much better on the exterior styling.

if i want a Honda, that will be either the Civic (not type-R), Odyssey or the 3-door Civic type-R…….

Styling gone wrong lately? The civic was ok. The CRV was weird, now this is weird. It will sell but will take time for people to appreciate it. In the mean time, I am still looking at every Mazda3 that passes by. Its one beautiful car

Hopefully we will get the JDM Accord here.. just like the 06 Civic

small front, fat back, and somehow the roofline doesnt suit the body well. or is it the body doesnt suit the roof? haiya, hope the european ones are much better. have always preferred them anyways compared to the USDM models.

hmmm…. cut & paste…. seems like it’s the ‘in’ thing among car designers these days…

these ‘current’ generation designers must have grew up looking at cars they like eg BMWs, Lexus, Mercs, VWs etc etc and they ended up putting this into their own design…

Gone are the days where the designers design their cars with their own set of mind/heart…. eg original Mini, Beetle, VW Golf GTi MK 1, Honda Civic 1st gen and any car that we can still recognise today as what make & model they are…

These days we cannot even tell whether it’s a Lexus, Sonata, Camry or an Accord, a CR-V or a Ssangyong except by looking at the badge on the them……
