Paul Tan on the Automotive Industry
Audi has released a promotional video clip for it’s scorcher of a sports estate, the Audi RS6 Avant. The new RS6 Avant is powered by a Lamborghini-derived 5.2 litre V10 that is twin turbocharged to put out 580 horsepower, although that number is said to be an understated conservative figure and actual output is rumoured to be much more than that. Frankly speaking, I find it pointless introducing the estate model as the main RS6. The RS6 should be more focused on the Sedan RS6 form, with the BMW M5 in target.
i think its more handsome in estate form..look more furious..
but maybe also..audi want to do something different in the hi performance market…

WoW..this car look great..+ Lamborghini engine under the hud..this will be very fast wagon..
m5 touring.and the new c-class c55 amg are the competition…..i luve those cars,sadly thy are not popular here…thy are a million time more practical than mpv’s and big 4wheel drives
Love this RS6! (fallen as early as RS4 Avant)
And its time for Volvo to design another V70R to counter this!

1. The muscular wheelarches…
2. The daylight LED headlamps
Love those! If I had the money, I’d choose the sports estate over the sedan, anytime!!

This, or M5 Touring?
The RS series has always been first and foremost rooted in the Avant form. As for Volvo, they will never produce a production car as high performance as an RS6, that I am sure of.

in germany, more ppl buy the estate rs6 than sedan
