It is not paint. It's a decal that can be easily applied and removed. At one time a few years back a company was doing this on folks' personal cars to be used as a means of advertisement for certain brands of products. About 8 years ago I looked into it one time and was informed that if they chose your auto for this decal (of course you had to apply and be chosen) they would pay you each month. And from what I was informed that you could make upwards to $600 USD a month.

The way that you (errrr your auto) was chosen (not in any particular order of value) and how much $$ you received each month:

1) You had to apply

2) The type of auto you drove

3) How many miles you drove a day/week/month

4) The route you frequently drive

At the time I saw this they were using a lot of the newer re-introduced VW Beetles. Some of the products being advertised were:

Coke

Snapple

Subway sandwiches

Baskin Robbins ice cream

its probably their “marketing fleet” cars. the “coke satrias” in malaysia were driven exclusively by their marketing staff.

maybe its the prize for certain coke competition/lucky draw!

so we’ll be expecting to see more company to stick their logo onto their lucky draw prize…. But kinda weird if you see Colgate logo on a VW, or even Petronas on Audi, or Samsung on a Myvi….

i dont think its a paintjob…its one of those custom stickers….wen u see thm u wdnt be able to tell if thy r paint or stickers..dats how well it blends into the paint
