In a negative view, this statement will most likely be interpreted as our G trying to protect cronies and such but if we think further, the aftermath of not protecting these available vendors is that the lower incomed workers that are working under these vendors will have the risk of losing their jobs.The G is POSSIBLY trying to protect the big workforce that had been long involved in the industry. If not, it will worsen the already critical unemployment rates in our country.Maybe thats why the word ecosystem is used.

shooter, if P1 clased shop and vW buy over Tg. Malim plant, ramp up the production to 1 million car annually (assume NAP sleep inside the grave), not only it can absorb existing staff, but need at least 5 times what P1 employ now!

Any foreign automaker would like to have a local business partners (manufacturer,vendors or service companies) if you meet their requirements and they don’t want any “tom,dick,and harry” companies provide something that can tarnish their company reputations and sales and marketing. So what it that to worried about being eliminated…

There is nothing the Govt can do about it.. unless the Govt insist that these companies should not eliminated..(it goes by say these companies can’t take competition, need the “tongkat” for support as nice way of saying .. to be bluntly “operating under the Govt skirt” that can offend people.. ) …which I think it not acceptable by VW if that is one of the condition on the negotiating table (no deal amigo)

Wow… The proton share trade volume reach 26000, i smell fishy… if u look at the valumn, most of the time is between 6000. Maybe some datuk or minister know that the VW is going to buy the Proton share, so fast fast buy it when it is cheap. Proton is cheap when under RM5, well if u have the guts then buy.. if u scare of the 10 years economic downpour, i think u better keep ur money until the real market worst then buy…
