I got no other option and bought boring Japanese car a month ago.....Else i am already the proud owner of Bravo. Too bad.

Hi Frank, Torino was actually clearing stock for their manual Bravo a few weeks back. The last I heard, they only have one left, not sure if it's still available now. The car is a 2008 unit, selling at RM110k with no warranty. Better call them quick. I think they still have quite a number of Duologic ones, which are robotised manual units like Selespeed, but comes only in 120bhp form and lower spec for equipment, not sure how much, though. Good luck!

Excellent car for the money!!! Been driving mine for close to 6 months now. Fiat has really stepped up on the quality and build of the parts compared to the previous models. No rattles or squeaks yet. Performance is pretty good, equivalent to a normal NA 2.0. Cheap roadtax, only RM70, good fuel consumption, consistently getting over 10km/l (about 60% highway drive).

Fiat has been pretty generous with the equipment.

Here's what you get for your money:
- Bi-xenon headlights that automatically switch off the xenons if you switch on the high beams when the foglights are on (switching on the high beams will raise the "glare shield" for the xenon lamps and will turn on another separate set of halogen lamps)
- Foglights that act as cornering lamps below 40kph and steering turned at an angle (can't remember the exact figure)
- Skydome heavily tinted dual glass roof with the front one able to be opened (I leave the roof blinds open 95% of the time, as I seldom drive in the afternoon)
- 6 airbags, but I can see 8 locations (maybe they treat front and rear curtain bags as one), helps towards the 5 star Euro NCAP rating
- 7.5" x 18" wheels with 225/40-18 Pirelli P Zero Rosso tyres
- Blue & Me system with USB port that integrates the "Media Player" and handsfree Bluetooth, with all major functions voice controllable without voice pre-learning (absolutely love this!). The Blue & Me has a function called "Message Reader" that is able to read your SMS out loud and it can even read short forms and smilies, but it only works with some phones.
- Dual zone air conditioning at the front with a single rear vent
- Deadlock system
- 8.1 speaker system (4 woofers, 4 tweeters and 1 subwoofer) with built-in amp
- Sport mode that sharpens throttle response, firms up the electric power steering and most importantly allows overboost to add 20Nm of torque.
- The usual ABS, BA, EBD, ASR with MSR, ESP with hill holder (holds the car at an inclination for about 2 seconds after the brake pedal is released)
- 5 units of 3 point seatbelts
- 2 ISOFIX mounts on the rear seats
- Height and reach adjustable steering wheel

Less significant features but good to have:
- Cooled or warmed compartment under front centre armrest
- Alloy pedals
- "Follow me home"
- Rear wipers that turn on automatically if the front ones are on (standard on most conti cars)
- Inside door open handle lit up when the lights are on, useful at night
- Electric windows with "one touch" function on all 4 doors!!! Comes with anti-crush feature for safety
- Remote control that locks and unlocks the doors and boot. Remote boot release. Able to wind up and down all windows using the remote control
- Spare tyre uses a 205/55-16 Pirelli P7 unit.
- Almost 400 litres of boot space

I may have missed some features, but all in all, it's a pretty fun car to drive around that doesn't burn a hole in our pockets.

5 months with this car...a pleasure.

Its not without its fair share of short comings as well...
1) sitting position not very perfect, but got used to it
2) FC not great for in city, NS highway hit abt 7.2L/100KM

What I like....
1) Still hits me till today, really nice in the flash in/out ..period.
2) mine is a 120BHP auto ..but it does feel like it...the noise it makes near the red line...inspiring but never brutish.

Top 20.....saya antaranya....

it is a 'honest' car, I drove it a week through Italy and France and the turbo asskick is a pleasure, fast enough without spending too much for petrol. My cousin is a fanatic Vw golf VI owner and the german car is still a little above for general quality, but unlike in the past Fiat jumped up quite close even still not equal to Vw, and Fiat engines are always funnier than vw ones at the same hp power. But I would never buy these cars after flying on my beloved Civic Type R, no need for turbo with this outstanding engine!

I have been looking for a replacement for my face-lifted Alfa Romeo 156 2.0 after six years of bitter-sweet memories together. It's still a beauty to look at and still very fun to drive around. The killer-look of shinny black with red leather inetrior, tuned-up 170plus HP means I can kick the asses of most ordinary Japanese and Korean cars, and of course the however-modified national cars. I am really reluctant to let it go for the market price of sub RM50k but somehow I needed a change.

The 159 2.2 JTS is finally here and seems to be the natural replacement. But I had decided not worth taking up a RM140k loan to get one after parking mine next to it; they look almost identical with similar expectations.

So I have a 'nice' problem of not knowing what new car to buy with a budget of RM150k. Surely, with that amount of money, there are many makes and models to choose from: 307, Ford Escape, Wish, Stream, CRV, Civic and so on. I am sure they are all nice, practical and probably with high resell value after years of ownership. But they all have one thing in common - lack of characters and very boring to drive around.

If I was that practical and rational, I would have swapped for a Toyota Camry 2.0 two years ago. It's big and spacious, very mid-size 'Tauke' looking, almost bullet-proof build quality and most impressively - real cool air from the aircond vent.

Fiat Bravo GT 1.4T seems to have a package with almost all the answers I was looking for. Frankly, I will settle for a six-speed manual for any car that is not fitted with twin-clutch gearbox. Those 4-speed or 5-speed auto are for people just wanted to drive from Point A to B. The so-called semi auto +/- gears fitted in most luxury automobiles are just 'feel-good-to-have' toys for owners who probably never use again after two weeks of ownership.

I am going to test drive one very soon and hopefully it will convince me to call off my dogs and end the search. .

Good news that Torino has revised the price lower for Fiat Bravo 1.4 GT manual since automatic is out in the market. The price is affordable now. I never regret to drive this fast respond car.

Not nice at all.High equipment levels but super bad depreciation in value.

Car looks bad with all those gaps and all.

Not worth at all at RM 135k.Civic 2.0 is the wise choice.

Car is so cramp and small and there is only one service centre.

No no for me...
