Suzuki SX4 Sedan: Street Sport and Touring

SX4 SEMA

SX4 SEMA

Suzuki produced two concept kitted up cars for the 2007 SEMA aftermarket parts show – one is the Suzuki SX4 Sedan “Street Sport” concept shown in Dark Blue above, and the other is the Suzuki SX4 Sedan “touring” concept, which is dressed in Dark Red above.

The SX4 Street Sport concept is powered by a 143 horsepower 2.0 litre DOHC engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Coupled with a rigid body and a sports suspension, it should prove to be interesting to drive considering Suzuki’s experience with making fun to drive cars like the Suzuki Swift. Completing the sporty look are 18 inch alloy wheels wrapped with performance-oriented Yokohama tyres in 215/40R18 size.

The other “touring” version is nothing more than a cosmetic dress up, fitted with a bodykit and 17 inch wheels.

The SX4 has been launched but I’ve yet to see them on the roads. The front does ressemble the look of the previous Vios.

Another 2.0L? What’s the size for this car? Same as Vios? 2.0L in a Vios size car will it be too massive again?

Looks good, can’t see the diference in the bodykits. I think they look the same.
They should bring this into production, and compete with subcompacts City, Vios, Latio etc.

at first glance, there’s no obvious differences apart from the rims.
but the blue seems like it’s been lowered (hence the ‘street sport’ label?).
the bodykits are the same, i think.
other difference should be underneath the bonnet or inside the cabin.

if someone would though of manufacturing eyelids for the headlights, it might just look like a modified Vios (the previous model).
    very nice indeed.

Suzuki is another car to be noticed, not only Suzuki design’s marvelous bikes but cars aswell… Suzuki swift is a good car, despite of it’s size & shape. The interior is solid, very good pick up even for A/T, audio system is great & suspension is comfortable. Respect…..
