bought mine in late 2008. After 1 year and 5 months, the vibration from engine started to be stronger. This is made worst with aircon. After numerous complain at the dealer ship (actmar klang), honda malaysia finally willing to take my case.

Everytime i send my car in for check and fix, i need to spent the whole day at the dealer ship. The bad thing is the vibration is still there after each fix. After my fifth visit, as cannot take it anymore and ask for honda technician to be onsite and explain to me what is wrong with my car??

The honda technician from Melaka plant (Jeff) came and check and fix. The problem is still there and he told to that this is the best fix can be done as i should be happy becuase there are far worst vibration from other customer. Until today honda malaysia still not able to share with me is which part of the car component that is failing becuase the vibration is getting stronger until i cannot rest my arm on the door rest.

Finally after no explaination can be given, i demanded for a official letter stating that vibration is normal on honda stream as my car is less than 2 years old with only 17k KM on the odo. Honda malaysia did send me a letetr as said that the vibration is within the normal threshold and it is not life threathening. Therefore they will not do any further repair/replacement of any component.

This is a joke coming from a Japan based manufacturer. Does it mean if my car is leaking water and as long as it does not endanger my life, it is ok ?? and no repair or what so ever???

Really appreicate if anyone can help me to escalate this to Honda Japan or the MD/CEO of honda malaysia. Up to now i have owned 3 hondas .... and sad to said it will be my last based on my recent bad experience with rude techician and horrible customer service reply.

so many people comparing the new strem against Mazda 5, Grandis, Wish I'll tell you what ;
1. Grandis is 2.4litres with 4 speed. Its also 6 years old model. You know how much it will swallow petrol ? You should compare Grandis against Estima.
2. Mazda 5 is good-looking....5 years ago. Its also the smallest in its class. The 3rd row is even smaller then Wish.
3. Wish is a good comparison. But again, its 4 years old model. For 200c more, you are buying a made-in-Thailand for the same price as a made-in-Japan Stream ? What would you prefer ? Furthermore the whole KL is full of Wish oledi. At least for a Stream the next 2 years will still be a "new" model !

10 kg lighter?hows that effect its power to weight ratio??probably improved its power compared to previous 1.8 stream..but no VSA, TCS and etc with that kind of tagprice is one reason to consider other models..anyhow love the more masculine curves on this new stream..

Hmmm, i like the previous Stream styling more. Yes agree on the 1.8 engine...too weak for a 7-pax mover. Go Genting sure suffer teruk. In US, a 7-pax MPV typically powered with 3.0L V6 engine; a 2.4L/2.5L is ok acceptable; 2.0L is already a compromise; 1.8L is too much compromise. Better just buy the CRV...at least CRV is 2.0L.

There was something abt the previous STREAM that I didn't like, the part after the C-pillar. Honda still couldn't get it again with this new model. Everything from front bumper to c - pillar is ok but not after. the version that's offered here looks like a super low spec model. let's see what the new WISH looks like.

price too high, 149K for i-vtec SOHC, CBU Thailand, nowday market still got a lot of selection on 149K, like mazda 5
btw, saw this car at showroom, interior and design not bad, but the air cond set at front area only, and who sit at behind, will be feel hot and warm, like Toyota Wish.

Does anyone mention about sunroof? I saw this Stream yesterday in the show room. It does come with a sunroof. But missing arm rest. Although the 3rd row seat leg space has improved but still need more. I agree that the engine need to improve to 2.0 iVTEC.
