Hey Cire…we’re talking about two big time automotive industry players…and your’re saying why cant proton colaborate with VW ???…pls dont compare wallnut with peanut la !!…proton is virtually at the mercy of VW..the problem with proton is that they are too stuck-up..they have they’re own pride as a capalang car maker and it looks like they intend to keep that for some time to come.

This is just about saving cost, and maybe finding what the competitors have for their engines. Then no need to higher someone to go in and leak secrets in the first place

If BMW and Mercedes benz could join up and develope a common product, why can’t Proton do the same with VW? Just which village that the ppl at proton graduated from? Sorry to rob the thread here, but the justification that Proton made is just lame. Msian is unique. As long as the car price is low, they will grab it like hotcakes regardless of the value and quality of the car.
Proton mah…no noise or vibration is not proton mah..so GIVE and take lor…notice the cap GIVE here..
