Honda Japan has released this promotional video clip of the new second generation 2008 Honda Fit. It’s nothing much – mostly rolling beauty shots that show you the car’s design cues. Watch the video after the jump.

this jazz definitely has better engine than previous but i reserve my comment on the design..seems the older version looks nicer in overall. anyhow anybody knows when this car will launch in malaysia?
a little more than the current price means >100k. Better wait for Myvi1.5. Maybe can buy 2 units summore
_____________
you still don’t understand that if someone can afford to spend 100k or more on a car, he will never purchase the ultra common myvi…..even if can get 5 units at that price.
1 of the most expensive small car, but nice looking,
not like yaris, expensive but not nice looking.
_____________
honda is playing safe in not changing much of the design. but park this car next to the yaris n it bcomes a stunning beauty beside the ugly beast.
Come on Malaysian, don’t get cheated by this overprice cheep skate. Everywhere in the world, the Jazz (and also Yaris) model are categoriezed as budget small car. In Australia, Jazz is priced at 16-18K, same as Nissan Tilda (Latio), but wonder why Latio is sold at 80K in Malaysia and Jazz is 100K. People who buy Jazz (or Yaris) in Malaysia is either they have too much money and don’t know where to dump it, or they are out of their mind (sorry to say that because the car is really isn’t worth for the money they pay).
I like it ! Ala comel nye Honda Jazz ni. Eh2 .. GrandMarquis .. Do you know about cbu & ckd? .Imported models are varies from different countries. These affect the price.
GrandMarquis…
Please check the price of our local cars that are selling in foreign countries before making your point. Perhaps all local cars owner here in Malaysia are out of thier minds.

Nah,.. effectively, a Jazz/Yaris would be more expensive then the H-line Persona… EVEN IF THE GOVT DIDNT PROTECT PROTON. Face it, the Jazz/City/Yaris are not exactly budget cars. They are called budget cars by first world countries where people have three times the purchasing power of malaysians. (their PPP adjusted income is about 3x that of malaysians)
As for their price overseas, all i can say is that a jazz effectively costs RM71000 on the road in Australia as I bought one there six months ago. Internet prices are about 25-30% lower than the actual price and dont include extra costs and govt charges (eg stapmduty, plates, registrationm insurance etc).

Im not saying the govt is clean… but we are doing much better than other developing countries with influxes of oil wealth (eg nigeria/venezuela). The bottom line is that alot of resources were spent making sure the bulk of the population had fair access to the country’s wealth. Without such policies, malaysia would be pretty much doomed to racial chaos due to large scale inequalities that resulted from colonial rule. (eg. most malays were in the rural areas while the chinese were in population centers).
Also dont forget that our econ is quite diversified, and to it’s credit, the govt has promoted industry. 300b per year from manafacturing, 45b from palm and rubber, and ~80b from Oil and gas.
*i thought i’ve replied to this before…0.o second time posting? PT, how come sometimes posts dont appear?
When I say the Jazz is expensive, I simply mean the car is seriously overpriced by Honda. I understand the circumstances in Malaysia, high gov tax, ckd, cbu, etc, but seriously, if you judge the car (Jazz and Yaris) as “the car”, you will notice that the price tag they put isn’t worth what you get. For me, 80-85k would be a decent price for Jazz (as of Honda City)
I like the colour
Striking!!!
What is the price?
Pricing should be circa the old model perhaps with a little increase.
Nice car, but the ad leaves much to be desired, I nearly fell asleep watching it :p
if you can afford a jazz why dont get the civic?
ergh….my steering…..
zzzzzzzzzzz………
Dang… this is a bait video. Making sure that car buyers will wait for it before spending their money on something else.
bavarian, perhaps you should ask those Mini owners why they didn’t get a Camry and save 10 grand? It’s all about lifestyle.
for design, i prefer audi A2

boring video, too much distractions in it…
student car!
Check out the new Civic ad in UK, damn interesting man cos they are using the orchestra style to promote the car.
Yeah the ad is freakin boring. Get the staff from the advertising company out and give ’em some spanky bottom…(juz kiddin’)
wif da current price , i think i prefer a swift sport.
