I think u are the one that is confused. local assemble or CKD cars are not rebranded. YOU BETTER KNOW the difference b4 talking. rebranding means rebadging. Check your english.

I used to hate proton last time when they forced consumers to take full accessories at ultra inflated prices. Today P1 shows sincerely their efford to improve and make better value for money cars for consumers.

Who cares about 5 Star or not, even cars like Audi, Mercedes, BMW, Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Volkwagen, Lexus and many those marques were there. So you think that were small scale motor show?

Can’t wait to see the new SAGA. I’m working for a company that supply alloy wheels. I’ve also worked in companies that produced metal & plastic parts. What we supply to proton,P2 & Naza use the same people,method,material & quality standard as the parts supplied to Toyota,Honda & exported to germany. They’re the same. Naza & P2 are run by people who use to run proton. So not much difference, it’s just that most people can’t seem to see beyond the badge.

Since P1 is not going to sell their cars in America, what is the point to participate in Detroit Motor Show? Even in Europe their market is limited to UK, so Geneva Auto Show is also pointless, so is Tokyo MS. It is better to participate in Motor Shows where the intended target market were.ie Bankok or Australia.

Well, since you said NEVER. Let me named two only for your information. Sydney Auto Show 2007 and Bangkok Auto Show 2007. Proton showed their latest Gen.2 facelited model with Campro CPS 1.6 engine besides the Savvy. Remember? Have you read and listen news? Don’t just shooting blindly. Get you facts right, ok bro?

I never intend to buy Proton in my life except Neo if they had better (more economical engine). BUT lately, I must say kudos to many forummers especially Paul itself, Sifu, Prem, MyVikiller, Nuojau, Ms Purple et al (some extent BigFish but he obviously targeting p1-quite unhappy) as you guys made me excited about viewing new SAGA.

This is very clear attempt from P1 to unseat (or reclaim their seat back) from p2. If P1 successful I’m very happy too for my country though I still prefer P1 partner with VW, Honda or Toyota.

SiFu my dream- proton will have MPV like new Stream/Wish category with 50MPG or 60MPG for commonrail turbodiesel. No point having fresh design inside out but too costly and risky to produce.

So, do you think this is fair for Proton by people who always look at the past models and bashing like hell?

Even there was people who said the new Saga look like Hyundai Accent 2008. The grill and rear light. I’ve seen, where got the same. Totally different. This guy just like saying Proton always copies from others, not creative yet copy and come out with lousy quality products.
