Twin door hatch, deosnt kia sephia and spectra have this already in thier saloon format. Its nothing new. It surely is a cheaper phaeton.

the twin door hatch thing is quite innovative.. easier to store things inside.. bigger entrance space to the boot.. interior is ok juz like vw passat+phaeton which is very nice.. but the exterior proportions and shape are somewhat weird to me.. the body is slightly tilted to the back of the wheelbase.. maybe that is the way to provide more room inside which i am very sure with.. the interior and head room looks good!^^ overall, a nice car!! =)

I guess this is the new trend in mid size sedan design. Start with 5 series, lexus, now skoda, perdana maybe? Overall design la I mean. Not the two step boot.

Will they sell it here? At what price bracket? Will it be cheaper than a VW sedan? How does Skoda fare in our weather? The 1.8liter with 158hp sounds good.

Why liftback? European market likes liftback. This is one reason why this new Superb has this feature. Once i want to put a 29′ tv into my car’s boot, but can’t get in as opening is too small. With this feature, i can. In addition, the rear seats can be folded down for more luggage spaces. There is no rear speakers on the back. The new Superb has speakers at both front and rear doors, same as the present model. 4 Speakers in front and 4 Speakers at the back.So the so called “floor board” is actually removable… If you think another way, this is a strategy by skoda to extend their target on fleet market, such as taxi companies.

BTW, I am a Skoda Superb Owner.

Btw, the double door hatch is awesome! Plus the boot interior’s so sci-fi-like. All cars should have that man, it’s so cool + useful. And the steering wheel’s cute

No idea why Skoda wants to make a big boot that has no use. Maybe you bought some tables at IKEA and decide to use tha feature. But if you cannot remove the floorboard covering the boot in the passenger’s side then what is the point. Also, where the rear speakers go, at the rear doors?
This car is sure desperate. “Chrome air cond vents” No idea what that is for
