Next generation 2009 Nissan Maxima preview

The Nissan Maxima is a large front-wheel drive sedan sold in a few countries like the US and Canada, and is based on the A34 Altima platform. It is not the same Maxima as another smaller car sold in other regions, which is based on the Cefiro/Teana instead.
This is the new 2009 model which will be unveiled sometime this week. Rather irrelevant to our market really, as it is a huge sedan with a large displacement, aimed at the North American market and other similiar countries which like these type of cars. But it’s interesting to see completely different product lines developed for different regions from a single car manufacturer.
No details have been revealed about the car yet, but we should get some along with a whole set of other images soon.
Two more shots after the jump.

The Nissan 370Z also rumoured to use similar styled headlights… Whats up with that? And taillights look like Vios! Thats not good for Nissan as people may see it as copying, you know, since their competitors and all…

Vios butt !!!
the whole car is very AMERICAN……
March 20, 2008 @ 1:11 am
LOL, even our own Toyota Vios and Honda Accord have been American styled. I guess this ultra modern chic styling is all the rage nowadays. I gotta say though, this is a huge leap from the previous Maxima models. The old ones just look so 1990-somethings, even the one right before this.
Why don’t we get the Maxima here? T-T

Wow….looks cool. Tan Chong should replace the old A33 Cefiro with this car.

How can Maxima are linked to VIOS? Maxima is one of the greatest japanese import. VIOS is what? . 3.5 Maxima vs 1.5 VIOS, what a joke
March 20, 2008 @ 12:09 pm

March 20, 2008 @ 12:09 pm
if the vios rear end were to be treated like some cartoon face… the butt of this maxima is what that face would look like when pissed off… hahaha
