Saw the Alza at a showroom (hidden in the store). A manual standard spec and auto premium spec available. See and felt inside. No test drive. No brocheure but ve pricelist. Overall the size is not really that big and not really solid compare to Vios and City but much better than Avanza. Interior is a bit more spacious than Vios and City(maybe because the seats are not that bulky and door abit thinner)but less spacious than Exora. 3rd row is really for kids or small size people. The interior is made of cheap plastic comparing to Vios and City. The door trim is much better than Myvi as they have rubber insulation lining around the door and front door opening. But door closure isn’t that solid (don have the “Kumph” sound, maybe due the door lighter weight). Engine compartment is small compare to Vios due to a differrent type of 1.5cc Toyota engine. Engine is more quiet than Myvi. Interior is simple and practical. 2nd row seat has only 2 headrest compare to 3 headrest Toyota Passo Sette. The aircon compressor is Denso which is good. It comes with a Silverstone tyre 185/55/R15. The spare tyre is located below the MPV(Outside). Headlamp is a projector type and looks stunning.

Premium spec has different seat fabric, airbags, spoiler, volume control steering wheel, seat height adjustable, blue/red speed meter, front fog light, PVC leather wrapped steering, USB/Bluetooth cd player and abs. All this cost RM5K more. The standard

Personally I feel its abit expensive to price the premuim Alza at RM64K but this is subjective to individual. I will decide after the test drive.

bagi aku kate mpv proton mmg best,dari segi handeling,comfort,besar dan luas.mmg bebaloi klu beli.x mcm perodua beli murah,tp klu beli barang dia mmg mahal tekan harga dari situ plk.mpv perodua dah lah kecil x bebaloi klu beli.kwn2 aku pakai kerete p2,semua bising klu balik kg nk isi barang semua menyugut bonet kecik.bwk mcm nk terbang sbb ringan.sbb tu minyak x kuat.lg satu klu hujan,klu laggar lopak air mudah nk berpusing.aku mmg sokong kate mpv proton mmg best klu bwk dari segi handeling by lotus.

salam n selamat sejahtera to all user in this forum….aku pakai myvi….tp serius…dulu aku pakai wira but convert turbo…aku lebih berpuas hati dgn proton …keluaran proton merge dgn mistsubishi….baru2 ni aku blk kampung and then aku xcident kan keta kawan aku….so nk blk kl aku terpasal rent a car…aku sewa Saga BLM…dan aku prg pertama yg pakai keta tu pasal tuan keta sewa baru ambik terus aku sewa…blk KL aku drive takder la laju maner pon…tp seriously aku ckp…minyak dia kuat giler…dua kali aku isi full sampai kl tinggal dua bar jer dia nyer minyak…but aku drive myvi aku n aku bawak agak laju…tp different penggunaan minyak between this two our national car totally huge guys….myvi memang menjimatkan minyak…so aku agak heran pasal dulu A.G HOT.FM dok jd hos dlm satu rancangan kt TV3 pasal keta proton dan war warkan Saga BLM jimat minyak…but….sebaliknya…how???

i suka pakai kereta import jpn. I kagum dgn cara kerja mereka dan harga jualan mereka pd rakyat. That easy and simple.
Bezakn pekerja sini n pekerja jpn? Apa bezanya dr segi kerja?
I berani ckp kerna i ada byk kwn kerja d honda m’sia termasuk adik saya.
100% kwn2 honda saya kata jk ada duit, beli toyota aja. Kalau tk, menyesal ohhh. Semasa on site,pekerja tempatan kata “tk ok ke? ahhh sikit lebih kurang aja lah, org kita yg beli juga bknnya org lain. Dulu kerja kat proton pun macam tu.”
We never complain n they wont care the dammed of the user problem.
If we complain, other’s supporter giving back-up. They still wont care the dammed of the complaint.
Thing improved by received the complaint, then change n learn from the others. Eg: 90% malaysian buy imports cars. What will local maker do? Price?, Quality?, Design? or more?

exzora..lepas beli, simpan kat rumah pakai kelambu..pegi keje naik motor kapcai..raya 2 kali setahun baru buka kelambu…dah exzora minyak kuat..!! parking pun 1 hal nak parking masuk kl?? keta besar utk famili besar..so test org tua-tua jer beli exzora ni..murah proton sbb harga dan kualiti yg 50/50 nasib tak ok masak layan problem. nasib ok selamat aku !!.. tapi tang makan minyak sakit hati wooo…sedut petrol mcm minum air.

ORG zaman 2010 skg nak pakai keta stylish, compak mcm mini wish..boleh pakai pegi keje, tak besar dan ala2 sedan. lagi perodua alza 1.5 mpv 7 seater ni jimat minyak..rm 10 auto boleh pgi 70km, manual 80km dah test. aku pakai saga blm 1.3 adik aku seminggu blm rm 10 boleh jalan rm 50km jer..klu isi rm50 x 50km 250km jer… ?? . Myvi 1.3 manual rm10 boleh jalan 90km. so rm50×90= 450 km woo. korang dah jimat 200 km….biar betul ? korang try ler pinjam keta myvi,saga jiran famili, rasai dan alamilah sendiri bertapa…jimatnya perodua.

the gear knob is not same as the before spy picture.N it also lost the tiptronic gear box (like the half auto/half manual..(+,-)….
if the gear knob change to more likely looks ….as the before spy shot ….

I think the 1.5cc engine is quick not enough ….but it still no need change the engine…I suggest it can become an 1.5cc(T) perodua 2009 mpv.
with an 1.5cc +mini turbo…

Thanks Najay for your comment. I will make an afford to check and compare the premium and the standard, after it is launched.

About the power of 1.5cc, 7 adults will be tough for the 1.5cc. I am driving a Vios, I loose the zoom pick up with 5 adults but once it is moving its ok. Question is how often we drive this MPV with 7 adults or fully load up with goods? Can 7 adults squeeze into this MPV? If its just a family of 4 or 5, it should be ok and a fun to drive. My Vios which has the same capacity of 1.5cc, with 2 to 4 passengers, FC for highway 50% / town 50% is about RM0.11/km (15.5km/l) and FC for town 100% is about RM0.15/km (12km/l). I will be very happy and statisfy, if this MPV could produce the same FC as my Vios.

I heard from the SA that we can test drive on the 24th Nov as the launching is quite late about 5pm-6pm on the 23rd Nov. But may have to wait for the queue to test drive.

its up to u wether r u safety concious or not. yes, accident is something that we dont want to happen but if it does, then abs and airbags can save lifes. urs & ur loved ones. different betweeen both is just 5k in the pricing and less than rm70 in the monthly installment. so for me, better to go for the premium. plus it is very convenient to have volume control at ur fingertips while driving, keeping our eyes on the road. better be safe than sorry. my wife’s viva premium also have these features (except for volume control, usb, bluetooth, uv shield) and i’m really grateful for it.

apapun i think this car is value for money for those with medium family size. proven dvvt technology to save fuels and performance. 1.5 is strong enough to pull its weight. but to put 7 adults in it might not be a good idea.

Hairan betul aku baca beberapa komen bodoh yg bersifat mengutuk tampa ilmu yg kata tin milo dan absorber rosak lepas 2 kali masuk lubang . Now more or less we noe the price, question now is whether is it worth to pay extra of RM5K for the premium which has the following extra;

1) ABS
2) Airbags
3) USB / Bluetooth CD player
4) Steering with volume control
5) imluminator meter
6) Spoiler (Not bodykit)
7) UV sheild coating
Adjustable seat height

Did I miss anything?

So which is better value to buy, Standard or Premium?

Aku dah pakai Exora lebih 7 bulan dgn mileage lebih 15000 km hampir seluruh semenanjung aku dah pergi termasuk ke Genting 2 kali . Pada aku Exora takde masaalah underpower macam sesetengah org cakap tu . Masa ke Genting tempohari aku bawak full load 5 dewasa 2 kanak-kanak 9 dan11 thn tampa sebarang masaalah nak follow abang ipar aku yg bawak Estima . Sampai kat atas dia pon kagum jugak pasal aku boleh follow speed dia .Pada aku perodua mpv ni memang cun dan sesuai pada sesetengah orang yg tak perlu mpv yg terlalu besar . Aku kurang gemar pada sesetengah orang yg suka mengutuk kenderaan lain tampa mereka sendiri berpengalaman menggunakan kenderaan tersebut , mungkin mereka ini salesman kot . Aku dah lebih 19 tahun memandu dan pernah guna berbagai model kereta dalam dan luar negara dari 1.5 ke 2.0 cc . Pada aku setiap kenderaan ada kelebihan dan kekurangan , terpulang pada kita utk memilih mana yg sesuai dgn citarasa masing-masing . pada mereka yg nak memberi komen , berilah komen yg jujur dan berilmu macam orang yang bertamadun .
