Good move (again) – hopefully proton strikes gold there , so that the big G would earn (at least) RM 3b per annum which equals all the excise duty/tax/bla bla bla that we, the POOR rakyat have to pay when purchasing cars, which in turn would encourage the big G to REDUCE/CUT DOWN all the damn tax/excise bla bla bla… and make cars accordable again in this boleh land (like the good 70’s)….hmm am i dreaming???

then the big G will get some support back from the rakyat , (i know the readers would not agree with me on this he he he!!!)

India most car commercially available have small cc, and the upcoming tata nano might just kill it.

doesnt hurt to try though, i would hope they put as much focus on their home country though, which is where most of their profits come from i believe.

Don’t blame Proton for not making NGV a comercial car. We already seen those NGV protons on the klang valley and they are working well with minimum complains from the taxi drivers. Which means the engines are doing well.

The only sad point is G will not promote the used of NGV gas as they would loose part of it’s income.

Proton has been making NGV taxis for years, it’s not rocket science. Soon new Saga taxis with NGV campro will be available. The reason Proton doesn’t sell NGV cars to Joe public is that outside of Klang Valley it’s hard to get NGV and most people don’t want to wait in line for an hour to fill up their NGV cars – unlike our hardcore taxi drivers. Toyota are also not bringing in their NGV camrys and Vios how come don’t hantam? Typical….

Proton has been making NGV taxi cars for a long time…it’s not rocket science.
Soon Saga taxicab available with NGV campro.

Proton haven’t offered NGV cars for publics sales in Malaysia because outside Klang Valley it’s very hard to get NGV. Toyota also haven’t brought in any NGV capable Camrys and Vios howcome don’t hamtam? Typical….

well, the cng (ngv) is only a possiblity

even if the fuel is introduce in india it only means that proton is experimenting it. it can be then brought here as an option

Another good news from Proton. Still how about the MD’s contract? Hopefully the CNG make way with R&D JV in India which automatically turn to favour Proton in Thailand and perhaps our country. To the G, when will they reduce further the excise duty. Please. We need those money to buy food.
