I can't believe this is even in question. Volvo is, has always been and probably always will be one of the best cars on the road. VW is the worst car I've ever encountered for reliability. Everyone I know that's had one HATES it. When you pay for a Volvo you pay for more than the size and speed of it. You pay for the safety, reliability, and as for the "their so expensive to fix" bull, The parts are more expensive, but you NEVER HAVE TO FIX THEM!!! sure, cheaper to fix a ford, Chevrolet, but when your fixing them all the time...you'll find owning a Volvo or a Saab is way cheaper in the long run.
