this is a better ride from the Lancer GT-S but a bit less hardware from the Evo
i hope this car will be less then RM 200k if it want to fight the Impreza S-GT cause Lancer Ralliart as know as a same class as the Impreza WRX (S-GT) at the USA……. a man can hope does he? i rather buy this Ralliart then the more ‘kencing manis’, ‘asam jawas’ expensive Evo……

i am a lancer gt owner. the cvt feels sluggish but in fact it’s speeding fast. just that we do not get that gear change shock feeling, so it feels slow.

hi, i’m a GT owner. yes you’re right, the CVT does feel sluggish in Drive mode. but then u have the Sports mode via the steering wheel pedal or gearbox. now with this ur RPM will scream! hehehh. so to save fuel, keep it in D mode for normal driving and Sports mode for spirited drive. if u go with this Ralliart version tho, the twin clutch SST is superb, of course the price will be doubled than the current GT and tripled if EvoX.

Not this time around. The last Ralliart Oz edition drew serious flack for being a rim and badging upgrade.

This time however, there is a proper AWD and a turbo engine.
I assume you actually read the post?

This is aimed at the WRX, but is 240PS enough to have fun in this lancer? Topgear drove both the FQ360 and 300 a couple of weeks ago and although the 360 looks like a proper tarmac rally car, the 300 was dragging its feet (slower that a Impreza STi). It’s a heavy car compared to the Subaru

i’m guessing the price to be somewhere near the 160-200k price tag area.

considereing how the Evo X is priced at 200k onwards.

then again, they might not even bring it in.

Didn’t the Lancer used to be a C-segment car and the Galant a D-segment car? Now they have combined the two. Looks like they can’t afford to make more models.
