wonder if it is lightweight like the gt3, looks fabulous though. they should do a cayman club racer for those on a budget but still want a porsche to race. good stepping stone before moving to the gt3 cup or gt3 cup s.

Hmmm… little bit of performance turning and add on extra accessories can actually make a car as “Limited Edition”, the “Limited” sounded simply use in current market…All these mod can be done by using after-market product…

Then… A Proton car with a SLR Merc wheel-rim can be consider Limited Edition? HAHA

aisay, all you can think of when looking at a junior super car are proton fog lights? gosh, that’s sad.

btw, i think the saga copied the cayman’s foglights as the cayman came out first.

Oooo…so this is how the “poor man” 911 GT3 RS looks like if they couldn’t afford the big brother. Hmm…wish I’m that “poor”! Thee…hee..heee! I loved it! The orange one is my pick. Culprit, you still can dream man. Remember few years back, some organization doing a lucky draw in One Utama and the grand prize is a Cayman? Keep dreaming man…who knows, it may come true one day!

looks like a cheapo modificiation to look like a gt3rs by a cayman owner who can’t afford a 911

    alpina,

the good news is, even though it looks like a cheapo modification, it is still an official cheapo modification… that comes with a warranty! nobody can modify a cayman outside there and not void the warranty, right?

and, yeah, maybe this is for those who can afford the 911, but it is a good stepping stone before hitting the big bro 911.

911 purists won’t take the cayman seriously though. that’s why porsche is giving the baby 911 more poke to prove what it can do. actually, with the mid engine format and opportunity to fit wider track behind, there is a bigger chance for the cayman to be fitted with a larger engine to compete more effectively with the ferraris and other mid engined sports cars. the 911 may have reached the highest point of its potential with its rear engine format but the cayman is just starting up its potential.

no way this can beat a gtr. not even close. even the mighty 911 turbo has been humbled. this is more of a fun car for those who can afford it. sigh, can only dream.

this car is a great car to drive. tthe only reason they didn’t make a porsche cayman turbo was that they did not want any of the 911 owners to feel inferior to the cayman. and another problem is that people like winnie loo owns this car and showoffed it in the business section of the star, knnmcb
