GT2 cars possibly have the upper edge on the suspension & electronics. Somemore, the competitors in FIA GT3 are mostly semi, or non-profesional drivers. The running cost for GT3 is also cheaper than GT2. One thing I noticed, grid size & marques variety in FIA GT3 Champ (GT3 cars) is way more diverse than the FIA GT Champ (GT1 & GT2 cars), creating rumours to replace GT2 regs. with GT3 regs.
