USDM Honda Odyssey to get a nosejob for 2010?

US Honda Odyssey

Vince Burlapp managed to procure this shot of what appears to be yet another facelift for the US-market Honda Odyssey. The Yanks don’t get the sleek low-rider Odyssey that Japan and the rest of the world get. Theirs is something bigger with a taller roof and equipped with sliding doors instead of car-like swing doors.

At first sight this seems to be a minor restyle of the existing 2009 Honda Odyssey, but with the odd nose from the Honda Pilot and the Honda Ridgeline slapped on. The motor under the hood will probably be updated to the new 3.7 litre V6.

I don’t know what Honda is thinking, but if it really looks like the pic, it’s butt-ugly.

    Dear friends,
It’s stated clearly that Odyssey is for US-market and not for the rest of the world get. Even we can’t see the Honda Pilot and the Honda Ridgeline here.
    TQ

I prefer USDM version coz it is way much bigger and very practical (ie..sliding door for easy entry/exit and easy to put/buckle up yr child on their baby/child seat at shopping complex parking due to your “car like swing door” can’t open wide enough due to the car parking beside u). our ODC not very practical & to small compare to this
