Nissan is spicing up the popular Nissan Grand Livina 7-seater MPV with this new edition that features accessories from Impul. Called the Nissan Grand Livina Tuned by Impul, it is fitted with a bodykit comprising of a new front grille, lips for the front and rear, side skirts, and an Impul rear wing spoiler.
The MPV is also fitted with the Impul sports suspension system which lowers ride height by 25mm and are tuned for a sportier drive with reduced body roll and pitch. The sporty look is completed with an Impul Blast II exhaust muffler, and 17 inch Impul Aura SX-10 alloy wheels wrapped with Dunlop Formula D 01 205/45R17 tyres.

All components are made in Malaysia except for the alloy wheels, which helps Nissan offer the Impul Grand Livina at only a RM10,500 premium over the standard Nissan Grand Livina as there is no prohibitive import taxes.
Those who already own a Grand Livina and wish to fit the Impul kit as an aftermarket item can also do so from Nissan. For aftermarket purchases, the front grille goes for RM800 while the all-round bodykit including the spoiler costs RM3,400. This is inclusive of installation and painting. The Impul sports suspension goes for RM2,800 with installation. The Impul Blast II exhaust tailpipe goes for RM1,800. The 17 inch Impul wheels go for RM4,500 for a set of 4 inclusive of center caps, air valves and installation, but tyres are not included as they cost an additional RM350 per tyre, and excludes wheel balancing and alignment. Aftermarket fitment only has a 90 day warranty for material defects while the factory Impul Grand Livina has a 3 year warranty.

There are four body colours for the Grand Livina exclusively available for the Impul version only, which are tungsten silver, sapphire black, brilliant white and twilight gray.

btw, the upcoming Proton MPV is MORE THAN YOUR IMAGINATION, that’s what i heard from someone related to Proton…..
From the IMPUL variants we knew that ETCM have a lot unsold Grand Livina. BTW, look now better than current one BUT the IMPUL can’t beat the Nissan Note European MY2009 version.
Nissan, please offer better and bigger side mirrors. Current one impractical and blindspots to the driver as the mpv merely an extension of Nissan Note with longer overhang without extension in mirrors.
Get the 2006 used Wish or add few grand more to get reconditioned Stream Mark 2 instead. Overpriced from already overpriced mpv. Only thing that l love about the mpv is FC, especially in 1.8 for long distance, sometimes lower than 10 sen per KM!

Comparison now is BLURRY. If you’re ETCM they’re comparing between brand new GL vs reconditioned, older, used, with history WISH, STREAM, ESTIMA etc. Why people still buying?
Many factors underlying buyers’ choice, one of them aspect of quality: Wish owners got really used, even 5 years old 1.8 Wish BUT they do not complaint. Check with them. Perhaps, that explain why people still visit used car dea;er to get a recond Wish.
Good thing about IMPUL, they can attract some AND maybe lose some, Proton MPV or waiting Perodua/Toyota Passo Sette or even Honda Freed if price reasonable and Indonesian assembled.

1) Nissan Grand Livina tuned by Impul…. that’s 6 words model name. I could’ve imagined the metal sticker will run from left to right behind of the car..!
2) lowers the height ride by 25mm? Would the ride be comfortable especially people at the back if the MPV is loaded with maximum 7 (maybe 8,9 with babies who knows) complete with Thule box at the top for balik kg..? gheezz!!
3) Generally, even before they intoduced these kits, Citra Rondo still got my votes. They have lotsa goodies inside ie. various cup hodlers, armrests, a/cond at the back etc.
oh please… don use that double lip like toyota dugong!..

people buy a wish coz its a toyota, ’nuff said. i’ve driven a recon JDM wish, and it was so incredibly underpowered, i almost cried.. but strange thing is, ever hear anyone complain about the power?

Nice, but then people who go for this have a crisis. Livina is still a livina, its a people carrier. IMO go get something else small, sporty, not like all the kit will help you shave some seconds in acceleration. The speed limit is still 110Km and going fast in corners in something with a high centre of gravity is dangerous
Does this one retain skirting-dropped-after-few-weeks feature? Most of previous grand livina with skirts have this feature. I guess using double tapes all round saves ETCM quite a sum. Even Save-Cost, Brother and Ahbeng acc shop can mount skirting better.

avanza? not as sexy as g.livina and juz doesn’t give satisfaction to drivers. Bumpy suspension and no sporty look. G.livina is fairly good with its price and the satisfaction it gives. now it has sporty look.. Not a bad choice for family who plans to buy an mpv.
I think it’s a bit too expensive-not worth it… would rather buy toyota innova for that price!

helo, anybody know what is overtrde for livina 1.8 auto 08. last yr was 4.5k. mayb this yr even more i.e 5k. Livina not so grand and the serena mpv cabin lousi interior. Fc not realy save even campro engine also can do $50 kl-sg ptani about 400km. Coming Proton mpv sure will make livina rest in peace like persona knock till death latio. Hate latio hathback ugly look……
great look, own a livina and had trade in avanza for that, Fc is good with it 52 lt engine, back and forth to Jb with full tank. impul version looks impressive – can test drivwe ah? seen once in the showroom in KD.

My Grand Livina 1.8…..I feel good due to new engine technology for future MPV etc. Impul looks more sporty and too expensive but worth it for your money in term of engine quality and better performance…..nice to see but expensive to touch or drive…..

Ranger aku wat kerja, Myvi org rumah wat kerja, Neo SR16VVl N1 aku wat racing..Semalam bru lepas TD M.Grandis, tp agak mahal utk duit aku tambah 70k compare wt gl impul, plus insurance agak mahal, nak amik estima 2.4 body jer besar tp aku sure underpower. Lainlah 3.5 v6 enjin…tak larat aku nak maintain..

Everyone knows Dunlop and Continental brand made in Malaysia tyres are made by sime tyres….
The question is how come the ‘sort of high grip tyres’ like the Dunlop D01 and Continental Sport Contact – 1 is not produced in 175/70 R 13 82H and 185/60 R 14 82H sizes? There still exist a huge market for these sizes in Malaysia…. Sime, how about it ? ASAP ? TQ
