but proton IS a pre kindergarden graded manufacturer when compared to bmw. how can you compare these massive companies with decades of experience and a motorsports heritage to die for? then again, bmw will make many many other manufacturers out there look pre-kindy as well, not just proton.

That's why the CPS engine cant be thought from end to end with roadmap covering 1.3, 1.5, 1.8 and 2.0 which is basically the sweet spot in local market as well as many overseas market. The 1.8 & 2.0 engine can be kept by slightly under stroke while the 2.0 with slightly over stroke and the same goes to the 1.3 & 1.5 as well and the 1.5 & 2.0 can be the "sportier" variants while the 1.3 & 1.8 can be applied to the more economical models. But look at what they have done? Dropping the CPS on the Waja which is basically an obselete model while for Gen 2, not be able to provide decent spec and fit & finish is a huge let down. When will them get serious with what they're doing? Probably not...because the government will bail them out when things go wrong so why bother? The "Tak Apa" attitude wont lead them too far from where they're now. This company will continue to bleed and bleed and bleed the taxpayers' monies.
