eveready,

its more like 200 packs of laptop batteries.
Correction!
the 410V BatScap LMP battery pack has a capacity of 30kWh, and peak power output of 45kW. Gravimetric energy density is 100Wh/kg, and volumetric energy density is 100Wh/L.

the LMP battery can be recharged at a traditional mains plug and supports a range of 250 km (155 miles). The battery pack is housed below the floorpan and between the two axles.

The BLUECAR uses a 50 kW traction motor & uses supercapacitors to provide greater power for acceleration.

cost of LMP battery pack depends on its (mAh) ratings.
how much does one laptop li-ion/ li-poly battery cost to us?
maybe it takes 20 packs of laptop batteries to generate the same amount of mAh as the LMP battery pack.
same goes the calculation of electricity consumption it takes to recharge vs the laptop battery packs.

i guess so... crossed my mind too, how much will be the cost of this LMP battery pack? doubt it will be cheap unless this type of battery already being globaly accepted or mass produced... one of my car already clocking 200k km plus after almost 6 years of driving... hmmm

anyway, this car really cute... I like
