i did design a car that close to this shape. This type of design will still be a trend for another 5 years.

come on, dudes... itu khan baru mobil konsep aja.. it's just conceptual....

dulu, waktu Hyundai Genesis masih dalam bentuk konsep, malah aneh banget bentuknya, just like an old fashioned Robocop car...

tapi, liat sekarang... The best car in North America...

Nicholas.C;

maybe not a perpetual motion machine(thats impossible) ...but yes youre right.the concept is actually concievable but unless you have a million square meters of effective photovoltaic surface, its almost infinitely unpractical.in order for the car to move at all, the whole hydrolysis-to-compression process may as well take oh i dont know..a week or so to produce any observable amount of hydrogen for effective propulsion, if you rely only on a few square meters of solar panel. but i have to say, any effort towards being completely renewable/sustainable ,efficient and without harmfull emmisions has to be regarded as noble.thankfully more and more people are moving towards that direction.always true, "the engineer is the real star of the show".

what's with those green thing on their wheels/tyres? do it have any purpose?can it work? owh... it's a concept car, doesn't need to actually 'work'..

anyway, their "artificial photosynthesis" idea is interesting.. wonder if it possible in future.. hmmm

Noble effort...still it mostly won't be in production by 2020. Just call it a hunch! It'll just remain a concept only.

It is probably just an idealistic concept, how it works is only on paper.

yet another noble concept and 'green' initiative. sceptical about the entire solar powered concept really. my uni was famed for winning solar car races in australia and they had so many limitations with harnessing solar energy vs vehicle size/weight ratio.

but then again, without concept cars, the automobile industry wouldn't be where it is today.

They may as well call it the perpetual motion machine.

Seriously, solar power can barely move a car (solar powered cars used in those solar races are so stripped down, it doesn't even look like a car) and they want to use solar power to conduct HYDROLYSIS (by far the most energy inefficient means of obtaining hydrogen), COMPRESS the hydrogen into a storage tank (again, just think about how much power your AC compressor saps) and then combust it again to bring a ~ 1 tonne car up to speed (And remember, as a fuel, water weighs more than petrol and the resulting hydrogen is less energy dense, a lose lose situation)?

Plus the eco aspect of it is also a scam. The car will still use the same amount of Oxygen during combustion as it released during hydrolysis, making the net O2 released ZERO.

To quote a famous American Icon, "In this house, we obey the laws of thermodynamics."
