Then the tie breaker should be decided by the driver with the most wins. If this is still the same, then the number of pole positions in the whole year. If for some magical reasons that it is still tied, it should be the number of fastest laps in the actual race. As a last choice, just do it the old fashion way - flip a coin! Now they wanna award the "winningest" driver takes all. So what happens when someone dominates again? Theoretically the driver just needs to win 8/9 races and then takes the rest of the season off.
